Playlist!!!

OMG I can't believe it's so easy to add songs to my playlist. It's like, ridiculously easy. I love it. And I recommend it to anyone reading this.

Playlist!!!

WOOT!!! Just today, at my house, before we got a chance to start wrapping up my friends' presents, J showed me her Facebook and Myspace pages, along with a site called playlist.com!
IT IS SOOO FREAKIN AWESOME!!! You just look up whatever song or artist you want, and you get it!!! I've only been on like 5 minutes and already I have 24 songs on my playlist! Yeah, it's pretty great. I have to tell my friends! YIPPEE!!!

One more thing!

Alright, my millions of fans, I'm sure you are all wondering about my knitting project. Well, we checked a book out of the library about knitting that was recommended to us by the lady I bought my needles from in the veery first post. However, I haven't done any knitting at all lately, because I'm either too lazy to get up off my butt and do it, or because the yarn is too "loose" and it's "fraying", like I've told my parents when they say I should give it a try. Eh, I'll get around to it one of these days, when the holidays are over. Maybe I'll get better yarn for Christmas. *Cough*, yeah right, nobody's gonna give me yarn for Christmas.

T's Blog

Well, that should be enough posting for now, I'm gonna visit T's blog! WOOT! PHILLIES ROCK LOUD!!!

Happy Couple

I forgot to mention it, but this week my cousin and his girlfriend are now engaged! YAAAAY!!! Of course it will be a loong engagement, since my cousin is only 18. But I am still very excited and happy for them.

Christmas Shopping

Wow! I am sooo excited about Christmas! But I'm also really tense, too. It is the last weekend of Christmas shopping right now, and I still need gifts for at least four friends. Fortunately they told me what the want. I will be shopping for T, S, H, C, and M.S. (M.S. not to be confused with M.) And not to mention gifts for the rest of my family! Actually, we have a sort of smallish family, so it won't be that difficult.

Oops

Wow- I can't believe I just posted that. I have to make sure no one in my class reads this blog. (Except for my friends)

Brat

Well, I'm over the worst of it now, but today I was really annoyed at this brat in my class. I'm in the honors class, and in my opinion she doesn't deserve to be in that section.
Today in class I was just, you know, looking around the room, because our art teacher has all kinds of cool stuff on the walls. And she's sitting there in the back with her friends, being loud, and I glance back there and then look away. But too late, she saw it, and it's the most important thing in the world. So she says, "yeah, stop looking back here, I saw that. Yeah, I'm talking to you! DON"T ROLL YOUR EYES AT ME!"
I didn't even roll my eyes.
So then I look back at her, and she's just staring at me. Then she gets up, walks over to my table, leans in, and says, "DON'T ROLL YOUR EYES AT ME!"
So I stare right back, and in a low voice, say "I didn't roll my eyes."
Yeah, not the smartest thing to say, but so what?
Then she walks back to her table, swinging her hips and laughing like it was actually funny and like I was really embarrassed.
I wasn't, duh. The whole thing was pretty stupid, and that's my point. She makes a big deal out of nothing. You can't even look at her without being snapped at.
SO ANNOYING.

Hey, there's one in every class, right?

Here Again

Well, I'm posting at school again. And let me say, it's not the best day I've ever had. I will specify later.

Sports and Ramblings

Hey, My friend T made a blog too!!! But I didn't know the address until I realized that she was following this blog. Yeah, she's the only one. Ain't that somethin'?

You can find it at:

http://philliesrockloud.blogspot.com/

Yup, you better check it out right now. It's pretty funny, and I left a few obnoxious comments myself. Heh, heh.

'Nother late post- But I was ON TV!!!

WOW!!! I still can't believe it!!! I was on WGAL news yesterday!!!

Relax people, I'm not a celebrity, it was like 5 seconds but they did ask if they could film me!!!

I was walking home from school, carrying my cello. A WGAL news van was at the curb and I walked past it, not really noticing it until a woman stepped out and asked me if her cameraman could get a shot of me walking home from school in the snow. Naturally, I complied, and the cameraman kind of followed me for a short stretch until they thought it was enough.

I tried really hard not to smile.

Later on, in the evening, we taped it and then, after a story on a family-run market closing down, I WAS ON TV!!! Oh, Joy!!!

CONCERT!!!

Hey, today was our school concert!!! Went pretty well, I looked nice in my opinion but I wasn't that dressy, either. I play the cello, so I'm only in the orchestra, so we only played three songs. And, um, we weren't that good anyway. You know, I did not practice at all except for our school practices. Fortunately, I didn't make any mistakes and I didn't embarrass myself like I do sometimes at practice, like dropping my bow with a bang and clatter. Whew.

A day At Market

On Saturday I went with Mom to market. In Pennsylvania, yeah, it's pretty cold by now. And my atrocious hair was frizzing and getting in my face. Unfortunately, I left my hair ties at home. I guess Mom was really annoyed by my whining, but we made it to teh post office, market, (where i got a quart of raspberry yogurt that i finished in like two days) and then on the way home, we stopped at a little tea shop called the Pemberley Tea Shop. It was a relief to be in such a warm shop, away from that dry, lip-chapping coldness. We each ordered a little pot of tea, with a teacake to split, and then went to sit down. I found a teeny-tiny table for two up against a wall filled with pictures and paintings. I squeezed my big fat behind into that little chair. In a few minutes, the waitress came up to our table and poured us our tea. Shortly after that came the teacakes with a big scoop of clotted cream next to them. Have you ever had clotted cream? It tastes really funky at first but then you get used to it. So, we sat and talked and sat and munched and it was great. We each had three cups of tea and the teacake for only $6!!! I will definetely come back and have one of their allegedly "fantastic incredible brownies". (My Dad makes a mean brownie himself!)

Posting is ever so much fun! Well, I should get back to my research!

J's Blog

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that today, when we were supposed to be doing research, J created her own blog, because this site is not blocked from the school computers. You can find it at:

www.ijulia.blogspot.com

(She probably hasn't posted anything, though.)

Comments

I've sent my friend M a lot of emails asking her to post a comment, but I still haven't gotten any comments. Today I figured out why.

I was posting something at her house, and I changed the layout, too. Once again I pointed out how I have never gotten a comment. Then she says:
"Sorry, I don't know how to post a comment!"

So maybe that's whats been keeping my friends from posting. Well, now I'll tell you how. At the bottom of each post, there is a little pencil thing that says 0 comments. Click on that, and you can leave a comment. I hope that clears everything up.

Almost Christmas

Weell, it's almost Christmas, and I'm pretty excited. However, I still need to shop for my friends' gifts. (I already got M's and J's)

Unfortunately, it's almost concert season, and ours is in 6 days. I still need to buy a shirt.

Still sleeping in the new room, but is is so cold in the morning, I don't want to change.

My friends are fighting again.

I can't wait for Christmas.

Christmas Tree

YAY!!! Today we got our Christmas tree. I even got my Dad to buy a new ornament for it, too. (YES!! M WINS AGAIN!!!) It's really cute and I can't wait to put our presents under the tree and hang our ornaments on its branches.

O Tannenbaum, O Tannenbaum...

Fire Drill

Today we had a fire drill in the middle of Spanish class, and we stayed outside for at least 15 minutes. Believe me, 15 minutes feels like twice that when you are freezing to death. And from the way it looked, somebody pulled the alarm as a prank. AGAIN. It is really annoying by now.

New Room 2

The New Room isn't as bad as it seems. After I moved a lot of my stuff up and hung a poster on the wall, it looked a little better. And when I woke up this morning, I stayed up! I didn't just turn off the alarm and roll back over, no, I got up and dressed. I was ten minutes earlier than usual getting to my friend's house.

New Room

I have some INCREDIBLE NEWS.

There has been really gross spot on my wall for a while. The wallpaper started getting moldy, and we couldn't find the problem until yesterday.

I live in one of those houses that is connected to two other houses, forming something that looks like a huge mansion house with three porches. Apparently a pipe in our neighbors' wall has been leaking and dripping water into the wall in my room. Now they're going to fix it, which is good, right?

Well, when I got home yesterday from M's house, I went up to my room and found... A HOLE IN THE WALL!

Now I have to sleep in a different room because there is a hole in my other one. We moved the bed into a spare room and I spent the whole afternoon bringing in some of my stuff.

When I asked him, my Dad said it might take 1-2 MONTHS before I could go back to my other room. So now I will be staying in that room OVER CHRISTMAS. It's not very cheery when you can't even sleep in your own room on CHRISTMAS.

Well, stay tuned for more posts, by me, M!

(Yes my friend and I both have names that start with M.)

One more thing!

Oh, I forgot, but here's a picture of me as a pirate!
lol!

My Friend, M (and J!)

Today I'm going to do a post on two of my friends- M and another who we'll call J. Ah, what the heck, it's Maddy and Julia. Probably doesn't make a difference anyway. Besides, I'm putting up pictures of them, so what's the use of protecting their name? Anyway, in these photos we are on an elementary school field trip to the local Renaissance Fair. (Faire?)

Here we are , at the fair. I'm in the middle, Maddy's on the left, and as you know, Julia is on the right.(I had a ponytail, kind of, but I guess it collapsed. Oh well.)

This is a picture of our henna tattoos that we got from a little booth at the fair. Julia and Maddy have music, I have the moon and stars. (By the way, it was absolutely FREEZING that day so the henna like froze on our hands.) =D

Attention- little detail

In case you are wondering, I am the one with light brown, short, fluffy hair. Yes, it's a terrible curse, but I live through it.

My Friend, M- A day at the Fair

Today I will talk about M, finally. I guess I just never got around to it those other days.

This blog is about memories of the spring fair that comes to the park every May. These photos are about a year old.

This is a picture of me and M getting ready to go on the Swings, a ride that whirls the seats around.

This is M and I actually on the swings. It really feels like you are flying, and it is one of my favorite rides.

Here is M and I getting ready to go on the Scrambler, which spins you around. It feels like you might puke.

Here we are, actually on the Scrambler. As you can see, it moves very fast.

Well, that concludes the post of today. That sure was a fun day at the park. Tomorrow I will post again, with more good times.

My Friend, M

For the rest of the week, I will be doing a series on M, and then maybe some other friends too if they want. I have sooo many memories and pictures of me and M, and I will post 1 or 2 new ones every day! I will have a picture, and then a short little paragraph explaining it. Maybe I could even get her to do a post here. Now that would be fun.
Stay tuned for more posts, I am SUPcake, signing out. ;-)

Blog Renovation

Alright, I'm toying with the different blog settings here, so if I find something I like, I'm going to keep it. There will be some changes around here...

Feeling bad for myself...

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?! Why is every other blog more pimped out than mine?! I can't believe this!!! Just because I've only been doing this for 3 months, doesn't mean I should still be basic like this! WAAAH!

Surprise for M

HEY! The surprise worked! Isn't that great?

I got to her house, and called. She picked up the phone, and i told her to pick up the phone. She looked out the window, and i pointed to the cell phone. She nodded, like "Hey, nice... whatever" so i held up the phone for her to see. THEN she got it.

Sorry, M. =D
